Join us July 20th for another week in our summer series ‘Q&A with Jesus?!’ This series is specially curated for the summertime in that you won’t miss out or be left confused if you aren’t in attendance each week. That also makes it the perfect time to visit with us here at FCC!
This Sunday our sermon will explore Jesus' parable of the mustard seed, a seemingly small and insignificant beginning that yields a remarkably large outcome. We'll discover how this imagery beautifully describes the Kingdom of Heaven: it doesn't always align with the world's logic of grand starts, but rather begins subtly and often unnoticed. The sermon will highlight that the growth of God's Kingdom isn't dependent on human effort or might, but unfolds according to God's perfect timing and the power of His Spirit, ultimately providing rest and refuge for many.
Read the following scriptures ahead - Mark 4:30-32; Mark 10:13-15 - and come ready to answer Jesus’ question, “What Can We Compare The Kingdom of God?”
